Complementing the St. James Plantation
trio of fine championship courses is the
newly opened Players Club designed by North
Carolina golf architect Tim Cate. The Players
Club course has been carefully crafted
to enhance the spectacular natural beauty
of the unspoiled coastal landscape. Cate
has maintained the essential character
of the land by using the rolling terrain,
hardwood and pine forests, naturally occurring
water and native vegetation to the maximum
degree possible. The magnificent Par 72
layout a wide variety of shots that will
test every aspect of your game. The course
is a challenging and eye-pleasing design
that blends ingenious use of berms and
bunkers with the beautiful and natural
landscape of Coastal Carolina.
